| Christine Rice, age 85, of Horse Cave, KY passed away at 6:30 PM CDT Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. The Hart County native was born November 24, 1921. She was a homemaker and a member of Bearwallow Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late William Flavius Woodson and the late Lucy (Rowlett) Woodson.
She is survived by her Son: Clarence Clayton Rice of Radcliff, KY; Two Sisters:
Vivian Watkins & Mable Martin both of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by Three Grandchildren: Timothy Allen White, Quincey Cornelius Rice (Missie), & Chasticy Bouvier Rice; & One Great-Granddaughter: Tamara Kyle White.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Adair "Boots" Rice; a granddaughter: Melody Louise Rice; a grandson: Emilo Hernandez Rice; & a sister: May Frances Woodson.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Friday, October 19, 2007 and from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM CDT Saturday, October 20, 2007. Funeral service will be at Bearwallow Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CDT Saturday, October 20, 2007 with Rev. Ronnie Bryant and Dr. Michael Rice officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens in Munfordville, KY. |
