| Chester G. Devine |
| Chester G. Devine, age 82, of Munfordville, KY, died Sunday, December 27, 2009, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was a farmer, member of American Legion Post 200, Rio Verde #698 F&AM, former Hart County School Board Member and a member of Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church. He served during the World War II with the US Navy.
He was the son of the late Charles Devine and the late Verda Devine and husband of the late Frances Lee Devine.
He is survived by two daughters: Jacque Gilbert, Topeka , KS, Jane Smith (Richard), New Cumberland , PA; two sons: James Michael Devine (Sharon), Owensboro, KY, Bro. Barry Devine (Kathy), Munfordville, KY; five grandchildren: Walter Devine, Jennifer Clark, Jennifer Gilbert, Ashley Smith, Aimee Hampton; seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by twin sons, Jerry Nelson and Terry Allen Devine.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2009 and from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Talley officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
