| Jack D. Carver, age 64, of Munfordville, KY, died Friday, February 5, 2010, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. He was owner of Green River Hill Grocery, retired from SKF, U.S. Army Veteran, Rio Verde Masonic Lodge #698 F&AM, Timberlake Cemetery Board of Directors, board member of the Linwood Fire Department and a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late D. L. Carver and the late Beatrice Price Carver
He is survived by his wife: Georgia Kidd Carver; one son: Danny Rhea Carver (Amy), Munfordville, KY; one daughter: Candy Gray (Bruce), Glasgow, KY; two sisters: Connie Logsdon, Munfordville, KY, Brenda West, Pleasant Shade, TN; two brothers: Eugene Carver, Munfordville, KY, Gary L. Carver, Munfordville, KY; four grandchildren: Alex Berry, Tyler Carver, Averi Gray, and Taylen Gray.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ferrell Carver.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home of Munfordville where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, February 7, 2010 and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday, February 8, 2010. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, February 8, 2010 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church Bro. Darrel Hensley, Bro. Curtis Slinker and Bro. Jessie Jewell officiating. Interment will be at Timberlake Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Timberlake Cemetery.
Masonic service will be 7 pm Sunday, February 7 with Rio Verde Masonic Lodge #698 F&AM.
