| Lucy Murray Bailey |
| Lucy Murray Bailey, age 88, of Munfordville, KY, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family and friends on Monday, July 19, 2010. She was a member of Leitchfield Crossing Baptist Church, a retired homemaker and Seamstress. She was a loving mother and had a passion for helping young ministers and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Buford Bailey; her parents: Harvey Murray and Beatrice Wells Murray; two brothers: Walter B. Murray and Reynold "Bummy" Murray and one sister: Alma King.
She is survived by one daughter: Helen Bailey, Munfordville, KY; a sister-in-law: Gertrude Murray of Elizabethtown, KY and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 20, 2010, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 21, 2010, and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 22, 2010. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 22, 2010, Rev. Landon Hadley and Dr. Frankie Melton officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville City Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
