Arminda Nunn

Arminda Nunn, age 83, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 in Munfordville, KY from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The Adair County native was born on February 22, 1928. She was a faithful caregiver and a seamstress at Hometown Cleaners in Munfordville. Ms. Nunn was also a member of the Munfordville First United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Henry Leslie England and the late Emma (Wheat) England. She was married to the late Buford Nunn. She is survived by One Daughter: Sharon Williams (John), Munfordville, KY; Two Grand Children: Tracy Sims (Andrew), Horse Cave, KY & David Williams, Munfordville, KY. Two Great-Grand Children: Anna & Johnathan Sims, Horse Cave, KY; Two Step-Daughters: Kathleen Judd, Sulphur Wells, KY & Bernice Asbury, Center, KY. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Buford Nunn and four brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday, December 19, 2011 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM to time of service on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Munfordville First United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be at Munfordville First United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 20, 2011 with Pastor Rick Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Old Green River Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Munfordville First United Methodist Church building fund.
