Audrey Mitchell Hazle

Audrey Mitchell Hazle, age 88, of Lexington, KY (formerly of Hardyville) passed away Monday, February 6, 2006, at Saint Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, KY. The Sulphur Wells native was born on February 3, 1918. Hazle was employed by Lifeline Home Health Care as an Outreach Worker and was a member of Allen Seminary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Tommie Mitchell and the late Laura Mitchell. She was the wife of the late James Lewis Hazle. She is survived by her two daughters: Dolores Meaux and her husband Walter and Linda Sue Hazle all of Lexington, KY. One Sister: Carrie V. Wallace of Toledo, OH; One Brother: Robert Mitchell and his wife Hallie of Louisville, KY. One granddaughter: Tiffany L. Meaux of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST Friday, February 10, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM CST Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Allen Seminary Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at Allen Seminary Baptist Church at 11:00 AM CST Saturday, February 11, 2006 with Rev. Douglas Barbour and Rev. Stanford Dixon officiating. Interment will be at Bearwallow Cemetery in Horse Cave, KY.
