Barbara Anne Kessler

Barbara Anne Kessler, age 91, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at Belmont Health and Rehab. She was a member of the Munfordville First United Methodist Church. 

She is the daughter of the late Sam Doyel and the late Flora Holt Doyel.

She is preceded in death by her three brothers, George, Jack, and Brice Doyel; three sisters, Eloise Carden, Jean Line, and Patsy Ewald.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years; Dale Kessler; one daughter, Patricia England, Munfordville, KY; two sons, Craig Kessler and his wife Tina, Columbus, IN, Keith Kessler and his wife Maritza, Tampa , FL; eight grandchildren, Hannah Davis (Chris), Adam Kessler, Davis Kessler, Alex Kessler, Julia Kessler, Christopher Kessler (Rebecca), Kirsten Pitzer, and Jimmy Pitzer (Sarah); four great-grandchildren, Olivia Davis, Wilson Kessler, Abigail and Gabriel Pitzer.

The family will receive friends from 2:00- 8:00 PM CT on Thursday, February 15, 2024 and again from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Marts officiating. Burial will follow at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hart County 4-H extension office or the Hart County Animal Shelter.
