Barbara Dell (Logsdon) Thompson

August 28, 1932 — November 23, 2015

Mrs. Barbara Dell Logsdon Thompson of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late John and the late Ora Logsdon of Hart County, was born on August 28, 1932 in Kessinger, Hart County, KY and departed this life November 23, 2015 at the Green Hill Golden Living Center in Greensburg, KY. She was 83 years of age. She made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Greensburg, KY.

She had worked in Real Estate in Louisville, KY for many years. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Rayburn Miles Thompson. They were united in marriage on September 18, 1948 in Munfordville, KY. Other survivors include three daughters and son-in-laws, Cheryl and Roddy Wyatt, Elkton, FL, Suzanne and Jack Shirrell, Greensburg, KY, Cara and Remi Rebillard, Brantome, France; two grandchildren, Jane (Charles) Wyatt-Scott of Okatie, SC and John Rayburn Shirrell of Elmhurst, IL; two great granddaughters, Caralynn Jane Scott and Carleigh Jo Scott of Okatie, SC; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Thompson was also preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Reynolds Logsdon of Munfordville, KY.

Cremation has been chosen. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am CT Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Greensburg.

Expressions of sympathy can be made in for form of donations to: Alzheimer's Foundation of America or Hosparus-Green River.

Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Munfordville, KY.
