Becky Melloan, age 74 of Lexington, Ky, formerly of Munfordville, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026 at UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. She was a member of Munfordville Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher at Munfordville Elementary and previously taught gifted classes across the county, teaching 27.2 years in total. After her retirement she spent several years working at the Hart County Public Library. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

She is the daughter of the late Graham Meadows and the late Maxine Davis Meadows.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Melloan; a sister, Linda Poe; a brother-in-law, Joe Poe.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Drury, Lexington, KY; three sons, Kevin Melloan (Julie), Lexington, KY, Kyle Melloan (Meghan), Lexington, KY, and Justin Melloan (Lauren), Georgetown, KY; 12 grandchildren, Ava Grace, Graham, Ruby, Jackson, Lucy, Matilda, Crosby, Connor, Liam, Everleigh, Adalyn, and Ivie; one brother, Walter Meadows (Polly), Pineville, LA; many special nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family will welcome friends from 4:00- 8:00 PM CT on Friday, February 27, 2026 and again from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM CT on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Hart County Public Library.
