Bernice Joyce Stevens

Bernice Joyce Stevens, age 75, of Cub Run, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at her residence in Cub Run, KY. She was a retired dispatcher for law enforcement and a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband: Ford Stevens; five daughters: Rhonda Sales, Alton, IL, Robin Pierce, Lomita, CA, Carol Hall (Tom T.), Elizabethtown, KY, Rosie Karch (Ray), Munfordville, KY, Jessica Woods (Joe), Porterville, CA; one step-daughter: Marlene Johnson, Webster, MA; three sons: Michael Wimberly, Ferguson, MO, Anthony Stevens , West Liberty, KY, Eric Wayne Stevens, Cub Run, KY; one step-son: Ford Stevens, Jr., Charelton City, MA; three sisters: Carol Froebel, Dorothy Whitworth both of Bunker Hill, IL, Adelaide Webb, Mt. Olive, IL; one brother: Melvin Johnson also of IL; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will have a private visitation. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, August 10, 2012 at St. Benedict Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Johnson officiating. Interment will be at St. Benedict Cemetery, Wax, KY. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Home.
