Bettie Lee (Hornback) Ragland

Bettie Lee Ragland, age 80, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was a homemaker and a member of Munfordville Community Church. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Hornback and the late Mary Gonterman Hornback Ragland.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Ragland; four daughters, Susan Horton and husband Donnie, Cub Run, KY, Donna DeSpain and husband Marion, Hodgenville, KY, Hilda Miller, Cub Run, KY, Mary K. Smith, Munfordville, KY; one son, Johnnie Ragland and wife Shelia, Munfordville, KY; granddaughter raised as her own, Cheryl Lynne Ragland, Bonnieville, KY; three sisters, Faye Edwards, Shirley Allen, Wilma Parks all of IN; two brothers, William Carl Hornback and wife Betty, Bonnieville, KY, Walter Ray Ragland, IN; 29 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Frankie Lewis Ragland and Debra Miles; daughter, Betty Jane Decker; twin infants; two grandchildren, one great grandchildren; two son-in-laws, Gaines Miller, Billy Smith; brother, Delmar Hornback; two sisters, Dorothy Hornback, Katherine Allen and a brother-in-law, George Allen.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday, October 16, 2015 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Priddy and Bro. Sidney Spencer officiating. Interment will be at Benningfield Chapel Cemetery, Mt. Sherman, KY.
