Betty Jane Kabler Ross

Betty Jane Kabler Ross, age 85, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. She was a Homemaker, a member of the Munfordville First United Methodist Church and a former member of Eastern Star and Munfordville Woman's Club. She was the daughter of the late Earl Kabler and the late Birdie Mae Melvin Kabler She is survived by her husband, R Gordon Ross; one daughter, Connie Hargis and husband Don, Bonnieville, KY; one son, Roger B. Ross and wife Cheri, Munfordville, KY; three grandchildren, Stephen Lane, Kimberly Short, Brennen Thompson-Ross; four great-grandchildren, Cody Lane, Casey Lane, Michael Firquin, Jonathan Firquin; two nieces, Jean Custer, Munfordville, KY and Betty Sue Gammons, Horse Cave, KY. Several great nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: James Kabler; Wilburn Kabler, Clarence Kabler, one sister, Della Mae Sheppard. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, July 9, 2013 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Blair officiating. Interment will be in the Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
