Billy Lee Perkins, age 56, of Canmer, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at the Medical Center Bowling Green, KY. He was employed by Dart Container, a US Army Veteran and a member of Monroe Baptist Church. He was the son of the late C. L. Perkins and the late Mary Judd Whitlow. He is survived by his wife: Martha Melvin Perkins; special daughter: Ashley Gallman, Horse Cave, KY; grandson: Damian Browder, Horse Cave, KY; four sisters: Connie Perkins, Greensburg, KY, Cathy McKinney, Hardyville, KY, Ann McKinney, Horse Cave, KY, Judy Poynter, Horse Cave, KY; three brothers: Bobby Perkins, Center, KY, Freddy Perkins, Hardyville, KY, Jimmy Whitlow, Horse Cave, KY; two half brothers: David Perkins, Buffalo, KY, Robert Perkins, Campbellsville, KY; father and mother-in-law: Kenny & Geraldine Melvin, Canmer, KY; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2012 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Locke and Bro. Ronald Riordan officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery, Canmer, KY. Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
