Caleb Lee Logsdon
December 18, 1923 — May 20, 2015
While Amazing Grace was playing, Caleb Lee Logsdon, age 91, of Upton, KY, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. He was a member of Millerstown Missionary Baptist Church and a WWII Army Air Corps.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Velma Logsdon; two daughters, Vicki Hack and husband Jim, Hodgenville, KY, Melinda Logsdon and husband Jimmy, Munfordville, KY; four sons, Randall Logsdon and wife Willadean, Sonora, KY, Steve Logsdon and wife Mary, Upton, KY, Greg Logsdon and his wife Gwen, Upton, Keith Logsdon and wife Robin, Clarkson, KY; 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sibling and one great granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1:30 PM, Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Hawkins officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Upton, KY.
