Carol (Close) Bartelson
June 28, 1951 — June 22, 2016
Carol W. Bartelson, age 64, of Munfordville, KY, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was a retired property manager, seamstress and a member of the Rowletts Baptist Church. Besides gardening, canning, crocheting, she loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Richard Close and Margaret Atteberry Hendrickson of Canmer, KY. She is also survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Bartelson; two daughters, Jessica Wilkins, Moreno Valley, CA, Katie Wilder and husband Keith, Canmer, KY; one son, Steven Wilkins and wife Karianne, Newberry, FL; one sister, Rachel Bryant, Riverside, CA; two brothers, Darrell Close, LasVegas, NV Ron Reynolds, Bedford, IN; seven grandchildren, Kaylie Wilkins, Kara Wilder, Ashley Wilkins, Karoline Wilder, Bryan Wilkins, Kolt Wilder, Klay Wilder.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday, June 24, 2016 and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Dwayne Cook officiating. Interment will be at Weldon Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY.
