Carol Jean Kessler-Schenck, age 76, of Louisville, formerly of Hart County, KY, passed away on October, 12, 2020. She was born on November 24, 1943 to her late parents, Eula Mae and Clyde Kessler. She raised two wonderful daughters, who gave her the grandchildren she cherished so very much. Carol was a cancer survivor, a lover of flowers and tending to them. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and retired after many years from the Naval Ordinance as a Secretary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Hampton “Bud” Kessler; and loving companion for many years, Donnie Raley.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Melody Dawn Taylor (Shawn) and Melanie Lynn Marville (Eric); one brother, Dale Kessler (Barbara); three grandchildren, Ryan Taylor, Alexis Taylor, and Ethan Marville; several nieces and nephews; and several more great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 2 PM CST on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Brooks Funeral Home, 50 Main Street Munfordville, KY. 42765. Burial will follow at Houk Cemetery in Horse Cave, KY.

Vistation will be from 1 – 6 PM EST on Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, KY 40216; and from 9 AM – 2 PM CST on Saturday at Brooks Funeral Home.
