Carol Ann (Buckner) Payton
February 20, 1943 — April 14, 2014
Carol Ann Payton, age 71, of Glasgow, KY, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, at Glasgow Health & Rehabilitation in Glasgow, KY. Mrs. Payton was a homemaker and a member of Bearwallow Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Roy Buckner and the late Alice Clayton Buckner. She was married to the late J.T. Payton.
She is survived by one son, Billy Joe Payton, Nashville, TN; two sisters:
Kay Robertson, Killeen , TX and Dorothy Jean Buckner, Horse Cave, KY; two brothers, Leroy Buckner and wife Linda and Don Buckner, Glasgow, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Cleon, Charles, Ronnie and Roger Buckner.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Bearwallow Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at Bearwallow Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 19, 2014, Rev. Stanford Dixon and Rev. Glenn Woodard officiating. Interment will be at Bearwallow Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY
