Carrie F (Webb) Johnson

Carrie F. Johnson, age 78, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was a homemaker and retired factory worker and a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late John Taylor Webb and the late Margaret Marshall Webb. She was the wife of the late Clarence Johnson.

She is survived by four daughters, Lurlee Young, Shelbyville, KY, Alice White and husband Charles, Simpsonville, KY, Diane Young, Shelbyville, KY, Pamela Alexander, Munfordville, KY; one son, Mose Young, Louisville, KY; nine grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; two brother-in-laws, Joseph Bland and Sammy Campbell both of Shelbyville and a host of nieces, nephews and other family. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandchild, LeeShay Alexander; three brothers, Taylor, George and William Webb; five sisters, Sarah Bland, Ernestine Stone, Mildred Webb, Betty Campbell and Anna Bray.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Friday, March 11, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Morning Star Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM CT, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Warner Fishback officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens, Munfordville, KY.
