Charles “Randy” Kemmerling, age 70 of Bonnieville, KY passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. He was the former owner/ operator of RK Drywall. He enjoyed the outdoors, taking care of his yard, and animals of all kinds. He was always reading books, falling asleep most nights with one in his hands. He was very knowledgeable, and stayed on top of news and articles. He enjoyed fishing on his boat, that he restored and made functional himself. He would cook the fish he caught and make his famous fish dip. Being very handy, he could do and or fix anything. He will be greatly missed by his family, a hole will be left, where he used to be.

He was the son of the late William “Bill” Kemmerling and the late Bobbe Peters Vollrath.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Vincent (Ashton), Bonnieville, KY; half-daughter, Amber Metcalf Laurelli (Peter), IN; a half-son, Cody Metcalf, FL; two grandchildren, Oakleigh Mudd and Aurora Walters; a cousin, Linda Lantz, Abilene, TX; an uncle, Donnie Peters, Alabama; his best friend, Kevin Mudd; a close friend, Robin Webb.

The family has chosen cremation, services will be announced at a later date. Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville is assisting with arrangements.
