Charlotte Ann Ard

Charlotte Ann Ard, age 75 of Hammonsville, KY passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center surrounded by her family. She was a member of South Fork Baptist Church and was a retired instructional assistant at Bonnieville Elementary after working 26 and half years. She enjoyed quilting, crafting, working in her garden, canning, and greatly enjoyed her time with friends at the Jewell Box. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma and sister. 

She is the daughter of the late Ray F. "Perk" Chaudoin and the late Genrose Sutherland Chaudoin.

She is preceded death by her brother and sister, Darrel Chaudoin and Linda Kay Bush.

She is survived by husband of 56 years, Coman Ard, Hammonsville, KY; her two children, Shelia Gray and her husband Steven, Mt. Juliet, TN, Greg Ard and his wife Amber, Uno, KY; one grandson, Wyatt Gray, Mt. Juliet, TN; two brothers, Terry Chaudoin and his wife Mary, Tony Chaudoin and his wife Beth; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews also survive.

The family will welcome friends from 11:00 AM- 8:00 PM Central Time on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY, and again from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM Central Time on Friday, May 30, 2025 at South Fork Baptist Church, Hodgenville, KY. A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 PM Central Time on Friday May 30, 2025 at South Fork Baptist Church with Bro. Jonathan Carl and Bro. Kelvin Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammonsville Cemetery. Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville, KY is honored to be assisting with arrangements.
