Christine "Tina" Thompson, age 82, of Adolphus, KY, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016, at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialy Care in Scottsville, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Stewartsville Baptist Church, Laurinburg, NC. She was the daughter of the late James Arthur McCluskey and the late Dora Mae McCluskey. She was wife of the late Junior Adwell and the late Bob Thompson.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Lynn Carter and husband Jimmy, Adolphus, KY; one son, Danny Joe Higdon and wife Brenda, Bowling Green, KY; one sister, Dorothy Mae Sandusky, Louisville, KY; one grandchild, two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM CT, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
