Clay Butler

Clay Butler, age 83, of Glasgow, KY, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Glasgow Health & Rehabilitation in Glasgow. He was a farmer and a member of Cane Run Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Glen Butler and the late Gertrude Taylor Butler. He is survived by two daughters, Diane Taylor and her husband Bud, Munfordville, KY, Connie Whitlow and her husband James, Horse Cave, KY; two sisters, Volina Logsdon, Leitchfield, KY, Deloris McTarsney, Columbus, IN; one brother, James Butler, Hodgenville, KY; two half brothers, Cleo Butler, Florida, Leon Butler, Elizabethtown, KY; six grandchildren and three great-grand children also survive. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by on grandchild Rickey Clark. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro Jack Srygler and Bro. Randall Kessinger officiating. Interment will be at Butler Family Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
