Cleon Payton, age 65, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from injuries sustained in a farm accident. He was a farmer and a member of Little Blue Springs Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Thedore Payton and the late Mattie Wilson Payton.
He is survived by two sisters, Maxine Brents, Munfordville, KY, Mattie Austin, Hardyville, KY; one brother, Leon Payton, Campbellsville, KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by six siblings.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, September 13, 2013 and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Little Blue Springs Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Little Blue Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Reed and Rev. Stanford Dixon officiating. Interment will be at Bearwallow Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
