Cynthia Anna King

Cynthia Anna King, age 78 of Elizabethtown, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Barren County Nursing and Rehab in Glasgow, KY. She was retired from the DMV for the state of Florida. She was a huge Jacksonville Jaguars and Star Trek fan. In her younger days she enjoyed playing piano.

She is the daughter of the late Theodore Wesley King and the late Emily Elizabeth Priest King.

She is preceded in death by one sister, Betty King.

She is survived by her two sisters, Mavis King, Elizabethtown, KY and June King, Hardyville, KY; one niece Samantha Spencer and her husband Jason; one great-nephew, Lex Spencer; one great-niece, Ryan Spencer; her brother, Myron King also survives.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM CT on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CT on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Timberlake Cemetery.

Cynthia loved animals and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARK or the Hart County Animal Shelter. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
