Danny Lee Pate, Jr.

Danny Lee Pate Jr, age 28 of Smith’s Grove, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025. He was a diesel technician at Love’s Travel Center in Horse Cave, KY. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. He was an assistant Cub Master and Tiger Den leader for Pack 555 in Bowling Green. He was a caring loving person touching many lives, having a heart of gold, he impacted everyone he met. He especially loved spending time with his son.

He was the son of the late Danny L. Pate Sr. and Rhonda York Prescott and her husband, Donnie.

He is survived by his wife, Justice Pate, Smith’s Grove, KY; one son, Ricky Russell (Roo); His mother and step-father; his brother, Jacob Pate; his three sisters, Aleshia Bryant (Jeremy), Shayla Forrest, and Autumn Montgomery; three nephews, Alias Pate, Jackson Scantland, and Nolan Tutt; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family also survive.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Tynan Lee officiating.
