Dellar Mae "Mom Mae" Hatchett, age 99, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away July 9, 2016, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Joe Crit Reed and the late Mary Etta Embry Reed. She was also the wife of the late Jesse B. Hatchett and preceded in death by four brothers, Carl, Murl, Jack & Clyde Reed and a step mother, Cora Jane Yates Reed.
She is survived by five daughters: Altar Ree Heater, Bowling Green, KY, Jessie B. Rice, Horse Cave, KY, Liz Crenshaw Satterfield and husband Charles, Bowling Green, KY, Patricia Hatchett, Glasgow, KY, Deborah Hatchett, Georgetown, KY; five sons: Joe Hatchett and wife Lois Jean, Glasgow, KY, Earl Hatchett and wife Pamela, Glasgow, KY, Russell Hatchett, Horse Cave, KY, Donnie Hatchett and wife Jo Nell, Bowling Green, KY, David Hatchett, Horse Cave, KY. Besides her children, she leaves 130 decedents which also includes 10 sets of 5 generations.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Yates Cemetery.
