Donna (Appleby) Richardson

Donna Appleby Richardson, age 75, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. She retired from Winn-Nelson, and she received her certificate of baptism from Ninth and O Baptist Church in Louisville, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel Pauley Appleby and the late Mabel Jean Devine Appleby.

She was preceeded in death by her sister, Paula Appleby Lawler; paternal grandfather, Carl Appleby; maternal grandfather, Charlie Devine; maternal grandmother, Verda Devine; and her first husband, Delmar Powell.

She is survived by her life-long friend, Jim Richardson of Louisville, KY; several cousins and many extended family and friends also survive.

Honoring her wishes, cremation was chosen. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM CT on Saturday, March 11, 2023 with a memorial service to be held at 12:00 PM CT at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Devine officiating.
