Doris Smith (Goodman) Taylor

Doris Goodman Smith Taylor, age 77, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Elizabethtown Nursing Rehab in Elizabethtown, KY. She was a reitred teacher, Past Worthy Matron of Easter Star, Kentucky Colonel, past fire chief at Wolf Creek Fire Department and a member of the Munfordville Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Eddie Goodman and the late Ada Logsdon Goodman and wife of the late Edsel H. Taylor and Leonard Smith.
She is survived by one brother: Edward Allen Goodman and wife Eunice Ann, Little Bend, KY; two nieces Carrie English and husband Mick, Brandenburg, Mary Dowell, Ekron, KY; six great nieces and nephews and one great great niece.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM CT, Monday, March 28, 2016. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM CT, Monday, March 28, 2016. Interment will be at Cub Run Cemetery, Cub Run, KY.
