Dorothy Pannell Rucker

Dorothy Rucker, age 85, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at her residence. She was retired from Louisville Bedding Company, a member of Munfordville Chapter #322 Order OES and a member of Leitchfield Crossing Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Allen Pannell and the late Mary Lou Farmer Pannell and wife of the late Theodore N. Rucker.

She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Mae Wilcox and husband Ralph A. (Bud), Munfordville, KY, Virginia Carol "Susie" Nunn and husband Marshall, Canmer, KY, Linda Darlene Meredith and husband Chester Cecil, Cub Run, KY, Dixie Jo Woodrome and husband Bobby, Munfordville, KY; three sons, Theodore Philip Rucker, Dennis Ray Rucker, Richard Allen "Ricky" Rucker and wife Jeanie Dennis Rucker all of Munfordville, KY; two sisters, Joyce Gibson, Canmer, KY, Carolyn Atwood, Linwood, KY; three brothers, James "Jimmy" Pannell and wife Ruby, Cub Run , KY, Bobby Pannell and wife Betty, Horse Cave, KY, Billy Pannell and wife Brenda, Munfordville, KY; 26 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. She ;was preceded in death by a son, William Pearl Rucker; two daughters, Bonnie Joe Jaggers, Deboriah Jean Rucker Dodd; daughter-in-law, Linda Lee Dennis Rucker;Brothers Allen Brent "Junior" Pannell, Harry Pannell; sister, Alice McCorkle and two great grandchildren, Dakota "Cody" Avery and Leia Daniell Rucker.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT, Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM CT, Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Benningfield officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
