Dustin Ray Matthews, age 24, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 in Glasgow, KY. He was a 2011 Hart County High School Graduate, employed by NAPA Auto Parts, a firefighter with Munfordville Fire Department, avid Diesel Truck enthusiast and a member of Concord Baptist Church. He was the son of Danny Matthews and Niki Hayes.
He is survived by his father, Danny Matthews and girlfriend Linda Cook, Munfordville, KY; his mother, Niki Hayes and husband Bobby, Campbellsville, KY; one sister, Amber Matthews, Nashville, TN; one brother, Aaron Matthews and wife Gabby, Munfordville, KY; one niece, Paisley Matthews; maternal grandparents, Jan & Larry Janes, Hardyville, KY; paternal grandfather, Henry Wayne Matthews, Bonnieville, KY; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rosie Matthews and a cousin Taylyn Logsdon.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, May 1, 2017 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Brooks Funeral Home.. Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Brooks Funeral Home. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY. Memorial contributions can be made to the Munfordville Fire Department c/o Brooks Funeral Home.
