Eddie Joe Rice

Eddie J Rice, age 74, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Medical Center at Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY. Mr. Rice was retired from the State Highway Department and was a member of Woodsonville Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Leroy Rice and the late Bessie Whitlow Rice
He is survived by two sisters, Alice Esters and husband Elroy, Horse Cave, KY and Edna Hector, Louisville, KY; one brother, Charles Rice and wife Rogenia, Cave City, KY; A special friend Ann White and her daughter Monica of Munfordville, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny L. Rice and Roy Rice Jr.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, May 19, 2014 at Woodsonville Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at Woodsonville Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 19, 2014, Rev. Stanford Dixon and Rev. K.T. Ford officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens, Munfordville, KY
