Edith F. Reed, age 65, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. She was a retired inspector for Louisville Bedding Company and a member of Bearwallow Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Jeff Reed and the late Mary Aline Johnson Reed.
She is survived by one sister, Carolyn Smiley, Bowling Green, KY; one brother, Rev. Carl "Dolly" Reed and wife Nellie, Horse Cave, KY; two nieces and two nephews, host of great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Cledis Rhodes.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 27, 2015 at Brooks Funeral home and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Bearwallow Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Bearwallow Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Woodard and Rev. Chris Whitney officiating. Interment will be at Bearwallow Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
