Forest Carroll

Forest Carroll, age 87, of Canmer, KY, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013, at his home in Canmer, KY. Forest was born on February 7, 1926 to the late Floyd and Katherine Stinson Carroll. He was saved at Hill Grove Baptist Church in Edmonson County. He was a well respected dairy farmer and raised tobacco most of his life. Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his four sisters and three brothers, a son; Forest Carroll Jr.; a grandson, Chris Hagan and a great grand daughter, Crystal Luker. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Louise Logsdon Carroll; one daughter; Carol Hagan of Canmer; two sons Harold Carroll and his wife Lana of Munfordville; Mark Carroll and his wife Tammy of Canmer; one daugher-in-law; Bonnie Carroll of Canmer. Eight grand children, fifteen great-grand children, three great-great-grand children and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 9, 2013, Bro. Barry Devine officiating. Burial will be in Pearl Webb Cemetery.
