Frank Meredith

Frank Meredith, age 82, of Cub Run, KY, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Geraldine, AL. He was retired from LGE and a member of Stockholm United Baptist Church. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was the son of the late Fred Lyons Meredith and the late Dora McFarland Meredith.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Brown Meredith; four daughters, Sheila McDowell and husband Ed, Cabot, AR, Anita Freeman and husband Larry, Geraldine, AL, Patti Jo Jones and husband Matt, Wax, KY, Missy McElwee and husband Chuck, Bowdon, GA; four sons, Franklin Delano Meredith Jr. and wife Kimmy Jo, Sullivan, IN, Jackie Meredith and wife Jean, Bowling Green, KY, Steven Houk and wife Brenda, Glasgow, KY, Paul Meredith and wife Melissa, Cub Run, KY; two sisters, Sylvia Taylor, Cub Run, KY, Bessie Crenshaw, Park City, KY; twenty six grandchildren, several great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Susan Hawkins.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 1, 2015 and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, November 2, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, November 2, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Matthews officiating. Interment will be at Meredith Family Cemetery, Cub Run, KY.
