Gary Eugene Goodman

Gary Eugene Goodman, age 73, of Edmonton, KY, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was a member of Munfordville Baptist Church. He was saved at a young age and was of the Baptist faith. He was a former employee of Camping World and Dana Incorporated where he used his self-taught skills in the IT department. He loved sports and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was a wonderful husband, a caring father and grandfather, he enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports.

He is the son of the late Stanley Goodman and the late Marjorie Bryant Goodman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Lynn Goodman; a sister, Jo Lynn Chaney; four sisters-in-law, Patricia Emberton, Marcella Froggett, Brenda Gettings, and Tina Warf; one brother-in-law, Rodney Pruitt.

He is survived by three sons, Jeremy Goodman and his wife, Jennifer, Munfordville, KY, Shaun Goodman (Melissa) , Falls Of the Rough, KY, and Justin Hamlett, Edmonton, KY; seven grandchildren, Brittany Lile, Gage Goodman, Zak Wilson, Jadyn Goodman, Aiden Hamlett, Millie Hamlett, and Jessalyn Hamlett; two great-grandchildren, Kaeson and Hudson Lile; one brother, Steve Goodman and his wife, Alicia, Park City, KY; two sisters-in-law, Lecia Pruitt and Angie Branham (Richard); two brothers-in-law, Charles Emberton, Nelson Gettings; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will recieve friends from 4:00- 8:00 PM CT on Monday, January 12, 2026 and again from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Eastham officiating. Burial will follow at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery.
