Genevieve Hughes Page, age 85, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away at 6:30 PM CT Thursday, April 19, 2012, at her residence in Bonnieville, KY. The Edmonson County native was born December 4, 1926 . She was a homemaker and a member of Union Light Missionary Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late John Miles Hughes and the late Lois (Templeman) Hughes.
She is survived by her husband: Parker Page; One Daughter: Cherie Sanders (Thelbert), Munfordville, KY; Two Sons: Phil Hester (Karen), Franklin, KY & Larry Ice (Katherine), Rineyville, KY; One Brother: J. C. Hughes (Mattie), Bowling Green, KY.
She is also survived by Six Grand Children & Thirteen Great-Grand Children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Two Sisters: Ruby Thompson & Anna Lee Brooks; & One Brother: Charles Hughes.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Friday, April 20, 2012 and from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT, Saturday, April 21, 2012 and from 10:00 AM to time of service on Sunday, April 22, 2012. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM CT, Sunday, April 22, 2012 with Bro. Jack Srygler officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville City Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
