Harvey Lee Clymer
March 15, 1951 — January 6, 2015
Harvey Lee Clymer, age 63, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was a farmer, an avid fisherman, and a member of the Monroe Baptist Church. He also enjoyed going to auctions and spending time with family and friends.
He was the son of the late Willis Clymer and the late Louvania Bryant Clymer. He is survived by his wife, Rita Joan Pippin Clymer; two daughters, Caroline Walsh and husband Jason, Cave City, KY and Shannon Poynter and husband Shawn, Horse Cave, KY; one son, Charlie Clymer, Three Springs, KY; one sister, Virginia Robertson and husband Elwood, Donansburg, KY; one brother, Jasper Clymer and wife Zora, Donansburg, KY; one sister-in-law, Sue Clymer, Monroe KY; four grandchildren, Tyler Walsh and wife Casey, Cody Walsh, Alyssa Poynter and Breana Poynter; two great grandchildren, Andrew Walsh and Corbyn Walsh; He is also survived by a host of extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Clymer and one grandson, Kyle Walsh.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM CT, Friday, January 9, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM CT, Friday, January 9, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Riordan officiating. Interment will be at Whickerville Cemetery, Hardyville, KY.
