Irene Biggs

Irene Biggs, age 94 of Munfordville, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was a member of the Munfordville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved being in the garden, studying the Bible, crocheting, playing piano, and spending time with her family.

She is the daughter of the late Oria Burnett and the late Zelma Elizabeth Pendleton Burnett.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roy Biggs; her siblings, Johnny, Gerline, Phillip, Truman, Don, Geneva, Mildred, and Thelma Jenne.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Christopher Biggs, Munfordville, KY, and Heather McGavic, Horse Cave, KY; two great grandchildren, Jamin McGavic (Emma) and Addison Staton (Deric); two great-great grandchildren, Silas Staton and Stella Staton; one brother, Louie Burnett also survives.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM CT on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the Bowling Green South Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4655 Russellville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101. Brooks Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
