Jackie Lee Groce

Jackie Lee Groce, age 62, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, at his home in Horse Cave, KY. He was a farmer, a U.S. Marine Veteran and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grand kids.
He was the son of the late Caleb Groce and the late Virginia Logsdon Stinson
He is survived by five children, Chad Bryant and wife Loni, Crothersville, IN, Travis Groce, North Vernon, IN, Stephanie Groce-Shepherd and her husband Dale, North Vernon, IN, Jeremy Tillis and wife Christina, Magnolia, KY and Jason Tillis, Horse Cave, KY; two sisters, Wanda Poynter and Bonnie Meredith both of Horse Cave, KY; four brothers, Roy Groce and Charles "Buck" Groce both of Horse Cave, KY, Caleb Groce, Lousiville, KY and James Groce, Newburg, NY; He is also survived by 14 grand children.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Beatrice Owens, Lois Huff and Teresa Ann Groce.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM CT, Wednesday, July 16, 2014, Bro. Caleb Groce officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY
