Jo Ann Douglas

Jo Ann Douglas, age 82, of Munfordville, KY, passed away on July 09, 2025 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. She was an avid volunteer with the Hart County Salvation Army who always did everything she could to help others. She was also an active member of Hart County Homemakers. She enjoyed all things art and being active in her community.

She was the daughter of the late Earl H. Johnston Sr. and the late Anna Hardin Johnston.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl H. Johnston Jr.

She is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, James Douglas; two sons, Steve Douglas (Lisa) of Lebanon Junction and Dave Douglas (Bev) of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Christy Douglas Booker (Terry) of Upton; four grandchildren, Kaila Duff (Chris), Hunter Harned (Sydney), Levi Booker (Renee), and JT Booker; one brother, Jeff Johnston; and several other nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM CST at Brooks Funeral Home for a Celebration of Life.
