Joyce W. Logsdon

Joyce W. Logsdon, age 69, of Horse Cave, KY passed away at 5:59 AM CT Sunday, July 13, 2008, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Hart County native was born on June 5, 1939. She was a Teacher's Aid employed by the Hart County Board Of Education and a member of Providence United Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Clint Wilson and the late Lavelle (Reams) Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 50 years: Bro. Herman Logsdon; Daughter: Loretta Cottrell of Munfordville, KY; Three Sons: Randy Logsdon (Beverly); and Phillip Logsdon all of Munfordville, KY; Bro. Jimmy Logsdon (Jeanette) of Huff, KY; Daughter-In-Law: Kim Logsdon of Munfordville, KY; One Sister: Liz Esters (Fay) of Bowling Green, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Bro. David Logsdon, & a brother: Robert "Pete" Wilson. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM CT Tuesday, July 15, 2008 and at Providence United Baptist Church from 9:00 AM to time of service Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Funeral service will be at the church at 1:00 PM CT Wednesday, July 16, 2008 with Bro. David Rountree & Bro. Paul C. Hawkins officiating. Interment will be at Providence Church Cemetery in Horse Cave, Ky.
