Lena Naydell Maxey Embry

Lena Naydell (Maxey) Embry, age 63, of Horse Cave, KY passed away Friday, January 20, 2006, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. She was a member of Little Blue Springs Baptist Church. She was a custodian for Homewood Nursing Home and Hart County Health Care. She was the daughter of Bertha Maxey of Horse Cave, KY and the late Leroy Maxey. She is also survived by three daughters: Lachelle Buckner of Glasgow, KY; Jenese Coats and Syvonnia Ford both of Horse Cave, KY; a son: Frederick Maxey of Fort Bragg, N.C.; two sisters: Ernestine Dixon & Lois Maxey both of Horse Cave, KY; three brothers: Roy, Frank, & Verlis Maxey all of Indianapolis, IN Ten grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband: Norman Wayne Embry. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, 50 Main Street, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST Monday, January 23, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST Tuesday, January 24, 2006. Funeral service will be at Little Blue Springs Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CST Tuesday, January 24, 2006 with Rev. Charles Boards and Rev. K. T. Ford officiating. Interment will be at Bearwallow Cemetery in Horse Cave, KY.
