Lenda C. Rogers

Lenda Rogers, age 68, of Munfordville, KY, was granted her angel wings on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was a homemaker a Caverna High School Graduate and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Elvin "Sam" Rogers Sr. and the late Mildred Sanderson Rogers.
She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Bell and husband Vutnor, Louisville, KY, Veronica Dice and husband Joe, Radcliff, KY; four sons, Gilbert Rogers, Louisville, KY, Noel "Tick" Rogers, Louisville, KY, Dewayne Rogers, Owensboro, KY, Webster Rogers, Bowling Green, KY; three sisters, Mary Glover, Munfordville, KY, Judy Whitlow, Horse Cave, KY, Evelyn Hayesand her husband Effort, Bowling Green, KY; three brothers, Dennis Rogers, Glasgow, KY, Elvin Rogers Jr., Glasgow, KY, Fred Rogers, Horse Cave, KY; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one aunt Frances Brown, Horse Cave, KY; several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Troy Rogers; brothers, Bobby Gene Rogers, Ralph Rogers and a sister Barbara Rogers.
The family will receive friends 5:00 - 8:00 pm CT Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home and 10:00 am CT to 1:00 pm CT Monday, October 26, 2015 at Woodsonville Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm CT Monday, October 26, 2015 at Woodsonville Baptist Church with Rev. Warner Fishback and Rev. K.T. Ford. Interment will be at Morning Star Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
