Leroy Glass

Leroy Glass, age 69, of the Monroe Community, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016, at his residence in Canmer, KY surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was a retired bus driver with Hart County School System, a cabinet maker and farmer. He was the son of the late Sanford Glass and the late Cora Trulock Glass.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rosetta Jones Glass; one daughter, Vanessa McCorkle and husband Darrell, Munfordville, KY; two granddaughters, Brittany Hughes and husband Michael, Horse Cave, KY, Radina Wease and Husband Josh, Hardyville, KY; one grandson, Micah Hiser, Munfordville, KY; one great grandson, Jameson Hughes, Horse Cave, KY; two nephews who were like sons, Larry Glass, Munfordville, KY, Jeremy Pippin, Hardyville, KY; family friend who was like a granddaughter, Katelyn Wright, Hardyville, KY; one sister, Geneva Jewell, Glasgow, KY; one brother, Gene Glass, Hardyville, KY; four sister-in-laws, Loretta Riordan, Hardyville, KY, Irene McKinney, Hardyville, KY, Mavis Moore, Louisville, KY, Paulette Glass, Bee Spring, KY; brother-in-law, Randall Jones, Hardyville, KY and a host of family and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Dewayne and Freeman Glass; sister, Gladys Sandige and husband Richard.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM CT, Saturday, April 16, 2016 and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM CT, Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM CT, Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro.Donnie Wilson, Bro. Timmy Estes and Bro. Ronald Riordan officiating. Interment will be at Houk Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
