January 25, 1926 — August 10, 2015
Raymond Lester Gardner, age 89, of Munfordville, KY, died Monday, August 10, 2015, at Francescan Health Care in Louisville, KY. He was a farmer and a member of Cane Run Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Roy Gardner and the late Shirley Dorsey Gardner.
He is survived by his wife, Pernie Jaggers Gardner; one son, Ronnie Gardner and wife Pam, Shepherdsville, KY; four grandchildren, Robin Singleton, Craig Gardner, Chris Gardner, Courtney Ballman; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Mayonia Irland, Radcliff, KY, Loretta Trulock, Prospect , KY; one brother, Elwood Gardner, Elizabethtown, KY.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. James Jessie officiating. Interment will be at Cub Run Cemetery, Cub Run, KY.
