Lola Mae Sanders, age 82, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, in Horse Cave, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View United Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late James Curry and the late Ovada Simpson Curry and wife of the late James B. Sanders.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Blair, Monroe, KY, Mary Blair, Horse Cave, KY; one son, Mark Anthony Sanders, Glasgow, KY; one step son, Bro. Bob James "Jimmy" Sanders, Cub Run, KY; one sister, Marilyn Riggs, Winter Haven, FL; three brothers, Lynn "Bobby" Curry, Louisville, KY, Billy Joe Curry, Pierce, KY, James Randall Curry, Lawrenceburg, TN; six grandchildren, Andrea Lynn Miller, Stephanie Lee Clark, James Wesley Sanders, Jason Michael Sanders, Valerie Turner, Tamisha Sanders; five great grandchildren, Brendon Michael Sanders, Marissa Jo Miller, Melynn Miller, Aubrey Clark, Peyton Sanders.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM CT, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Pleasant View United Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM CT, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Pleasant View United Baptist Church with Bro. Jr. Logsdon officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
