Lucille (Rigdon) Gardner

Lucille (Rigdon) Gardner, age 76, of Munfordville, KY passed away at 10:04 PM CT Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. The Hart County native was born on August 30, 1931. She was a homemaker and upholsterer. Lucille was an avid doll collecter and quilter. She was a member of Center Point Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Herbert Rigdon and the late Nora (Doyle) Rigdon. She is survived by her husband: L. A. "Buster" Gardner; Three Daughters: Linda Smith (Marion); Nadine Hawkins (David); & Sandra Wright (Dave) all of Munfordville, KY; One Brother: Elmer Rigdon of Glasgow, KY. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Dwight Smith (Angie), Brandon Smith (Renny), Matthew Hawkins (Ferol), Weldon Hawkins, Caralyne Wright, and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Ronnie Rigdon. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM CT Thursday, May 8, 2008 and from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM CT Friday, May 9, 2008. Funeral service will be at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CT Friday, May 9, 2008 with Bro. James Jessie officiating. Interment will be at Cub Run Cemetery in Cub Run, KY.
