Lynn Marion Roberts, age 86 of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was a member of the Coral Ridge Baptist Church in Fairdale, KY. Lynn was a US Navy Veteran and retired after 36 years at Reynolds Metals. He was a life long member of the Optimist Club, a Kentucky Colonel, he coached basketball, football, and baseball. In his free time you could find him hunting, fishing, bird watching, or playing guitar on his porch.

He was the son of the late Vernon H. Roberts and the late Marian E. Hanna Roberts.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bettie Dunn Roberts, Bonnieville, KY; two children, Anthony Roberts and his wife Tracy, Wendy Giles and her husband Todd, both of Bonnieville, KY; five grandchildren, Ashlee Roberts (Mike Clark), Chelsea Drake (Duran), Andrew Roberts, Jamie Mills (Peyton), and Sidney Sumpter (Robert); six great-grandchildren, Carlee, Adelyn, Ashton, Rayleigh, Emmalynn, and Kennedy.

The family will welcome friends from 12:00- 8:00 PM CT on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 and again on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM CT at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM CT on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will follow in his family plot at the R. Place Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY.
