Margie Helen Tennyson

Margie Helen Wright Tennyson, age 90, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024. She retired from Hart County Bank & Trust. She was the valedictorian of her graduating class at Munfordville High School and was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Horace Wright and the late Anah Lois Johnson Wright.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Tennyson, and her brother, Thomas Wright.

She is survived by her three sons, Jeff Tennyson of Munfordville, Barry Tennyson (Vickie) of Munfordville, Garry Tennyson (Jerrynita) of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Brian Tennyson (Chelsey) of Jonesville, Paige Hall (Joseph) of Glasgow, and Cameron Tennyson (Audrey) of Munfordville; seven great-grandchildren, Liam, Elowyn, Sylvia, Paisley, Levi, Beckham, and Lakyn; one brother, Leon Wright (Linda); one sister-in-law, Alma Wright, and many other family members also survive.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM CT on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home, and again on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM CT on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons International and the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow to honor Ms. Tennyson.
