Martha Burd Wilson

Martha Burd Wilson, age 85, of Hardyville, KY passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. The Hart County native was born on April 14, 1920. She was a homemaker and a member of Allen Seminary Baptist Church where she served as Church Clerk and Custodian for several years. She was the wife of the late Willie Lee Wilson She was the daughter of the late Jim Green and the late Betty (Smith) Green. She is survived by her Six Nieces: Mary Frances Campbell and her husband Morris of Glasgow, KY; Bettye Barlow and her husband Charles of Cave City, KY; Joyce Masden of Elizabethtown, KY; Doris Reed and her husband Charlie of Hardyville, KY; Martha Allen Green of Cincinnati, OH; Connie Jordan and her husband Danny of Munfordville, KY; Two Nephews: William H. Green of Louisville, KY; Carl C. Greene and his wife Mary of Cave City, KY; A special Great-Nephew: Robert Quincy Green of Elizabethtown, KY; Host of friends and relatives. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST Thursday, March 9, 2006 and at Allen Seminary Baptist Church from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST Friday, March 10, 2006. Funeral service will be at Allen Seminary Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CST Friday, March 10, 2006 with Rev. Keith Rowlett and Rev. Stanford Dixon officiating. Interment will be at Allen Seminary Cemetery in Hardyville, KY.
